Three cases of amniotic band syndrome (ABS) were studied to highlight the clinicopathologic characteristics. The diagnosis was based on the following manifestations: cranio facial clefts; limb body wall defects and amniotic band attachment. All three cases were stillborn and associated with defects in the central nervous system, heart or gastrointestinal system.
