Amitraz is an insecticide/acaricide of formamidine pesticides used worldwide to control ectoparasites in animals. Amitraz poisoning is a rare disorder characterized by central nervous system (CNS) and respiratory depression, bradycardia, hypotension, hypothermia, hyperglycemia,nausea and vomiting.
