PURPOSE The aim of the present study was to quantify the protective efficacy of recombinant human keratinocyte growth factor (rHuKGF) in oral mucosa. METHODS AND MATERIALS Mouse tongue mucosal ulceration was analyzed as the clinically relevant end point.
