OBJECTIVE To systematically review and create nomograms of flaccid and erect penile size measurements. [] Key MethodMETHODS Study key eligibility criteria: measurement of penis size by a health professional using a standard procedure; a minimum of 50 participants per sample. EXCLUSION CRITERIA samples with a congenital or acquired penile abnormality, previous surgery, complaint of small penis size or erectile dysfunction.

A systematic review that included more than 15 000 men has found that the average length of a flaccid penis is 9.16 cm and an erect penis 13.12 cm, which may be helpful when counselling men.
A preliminary investigation of a novel method to manipulate penis length to measure female sexual satisfaction: a single‐case experimental design
It is found that size may matter in women in a healthy stable relationship when there is penile shortening, and the results should not be misinterpreted as meaning that increasing penile length will increase sexual pleasure in women.
Data from 14,597 penile measurements of vietnamese men
Little is known about penile dimensions in South‐East Asian countries and how these measurements are influenced by gender identity, sexual orientation, and other factors.
Mucosal cuff length to penile length ratio may affect the risk of premature ejaculation in circumcised males
Although mucosal cuff length was not associated with either self-estimated IELT or PEP, there was a negative correlation between MCR and self-ESTimated IelT and PEP measures, suggesting that the length of the mucosa after circumcision may have an impact on ejaculatory function.
A review of penile elongation surgery
The anatomy and embryology of congenital micropenis is reviewed and both conservative and surgical management options for men seeking penile elongation therapy are discussed, to improve patient quality of life.
Penile Length: Natural History, Preservation, and Recovery
This chapter explores the effects that various urological diseases and therapies have on penile length, namely erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and radical prostatectomy, and strategies for penile size preservation in addition to penile lengthening procedures.
Erect penile dimensions in a cohort of 778 Middle Eastern men: establishment of a nomogram.
A nomogram of erect penile dimensions in a large sample of Middle Eastern men can be used as a standard when advising men with small penis anxiety to educate and reassure concerned men about the size of their penises.
Penile length is preserved after implant surgery
This prospective study investigated if there is a correlation between penile size measured preoperatively and erect penis after penile implant surgery (PI) and found no comprehensive data supports this theory.
Reference penile size measurement and correlation with other anthropometric dimensions: a prospective study in 800 men.
Estimates of the average penile measurements in Argentina are flaccid penis length of 11.4 cm, penile circumference of 10.1 cm, and stretching the penis to the maximum in flaccidity of 15.2 cm.

Position paper: Management of men complaining of a small penis despite an actually normal size.
Based on the current status of science, penile lengthening procedure surgery is still considered experimental and should only be limited to special circumstances within research or university institutions with supervising ethics committees.
Penile length is normal in most men seeking penile lengthening procedures
It is shown that most men who seek penile lengthening surgery overestimate ‘normal’ penile length and most found the use of a nomgram to show them how they compared with other men helpful.
Can shoe size predict penile length?
This research aims to establish if the ‘myth’ about whether the size of a man's penis can be estimated from his shoe size has any basis, and if it does, whether it is based on fact or fiction.
Penile Length and Circumference: A Study on 3,300 Young Italian Males
An extensive study in young Italian males to provide estimates of normal variations of penile dimensions is carried out and penile length and circumference are suggested to consider themselves as two bodily measures which display a wide extent of normal variability along the general population.
Penile length and circumference: an Indian study
There are significant differences in the mean penile length and circumference of Indian sample compared to the data reported from other countries, andPenile dimensions are found to be correlated with anthropometric parameters.
Accurate Method for Determining Functional Penile Length in Turkish Young Men
The results obtained using different statistical methods showed that the most accurate results can be obtained by considering stretched penile length, whereas flaccid length had little importance in determining erectPenile length.
Growth and development of male external genitalia: a cross-sectional study of 6200 males aged 0 to 19 years.
The study provides the contemporary reference range values for height, weight, testicular volume, and penile length and circumference of males aged 0 to 19 years, and shows that, even by the end of 20th century, there is still some acceleration of male pubertal development.
