In this thesis we describe an approach to deal with high-order loop corrections in a systematic way. We apply this approach to determine the O(g6) contribution to the electric screening mass m2E and O(g8) correction to the effective gauge coupling g E appearing as matching coefficients in socalled EQCD, which acts as a large-distance effective theory for the theory of strong interactions at finite-temperature.
