It has been shown, that high-efficiency Class-E operation can be sustained for various combinations of feed inductance L 0 dc and shunt ca-pacitance C 0 DS. Especially for high-frequency amplifiers, this simplifies the choice of the transistor, since devices with higher intrinsic drain source capacitances can be employed.
