1. 40 out of 45 A.A. groups in London co-operated by asking all members attending meetings during one week to complete a questionnaire — 306 questionnaires were returned. — 2. Males accounted for 81% of membership, females 19%. Mean age was 45.7 years. 58% were married, 19% single, 20% divorced or separated and 3% widowed.
