Ferrite samples with a chemical formula Co0.5Ni0.5Al(x)Fe(2-x)O4 (where x = 0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0) were synthesized by sol-gel auto-combustion method. The synthesized samples were annealed at 600 degrees C for 4 h. An analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns reveals the formation of single phase cubic spinel structure.
