A checklist is provided for the modern and fossil vascular pl nt flora of the contiguous protected areas of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, and the Tinajas Altas Region in southwestern Arizona. Th e modern flora includes 741 native and non-native taxa. The fossil record includes more than 219 sp ecies documented by specimens recovered from packrat ( Neotoma spp.) middens spanning the last 43,000+ years.
