Air quality nowadays has been degraded to a large extent that it has become a necessary criteria for us to monitor its quality. The quality of air has been affected by various factors like industrial emission, vehicular transmission etc. The evolution of various technology like the Internet of Things, Raspberry Pi, it has become easier for us to deploy sensors and allow to detect the quality of air in real time. The Internet Of things is a term for various devices communicating with each other…

Design and Implementation of an IoT Based LPG and CO Gases Monitoring System
TLDR
The use of Internet of Things techniques are used to design and build a telemetry system to monitor in real-time the concentration of GLP and CO gases in the surrounding air, whose data is accessible from any device with internet access through a website.
Monitoring and analysis of air quality for community empowerment in Environmental Health
TLDR
An air quality-monitoring platform based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is proposed that uses Low-cost devices such as Arduino and Raspberry to measure the air quality in the center of Popayan city and shows an impact in the community perception.
Air Pollution Monitoring Through Arduino Uno
TLDR
To measure the level of pollutant in the environment, Arduino Uno was used as hardware with some sensors and visualized the measure data with the help of graphs.
An Efficient Approach for Selection of Initial Cluster Centroids for k-means
TLDR
A new approach to initialize centroids for k-means is proposed in this paper on the basis of the concept to choose the well separated data-objects as initial cluster Centroids instead of pure arbitrary selection, which leads to higher probability of closeness of the chosenCentroids to the final cluster centroIDS.

Internet of things based smart environmental monitoring using the Raspberry-Pi computer
TLDR
Experimental results demonstrated that the Raspberry-Pi single-board system is able to accurately measure: temperature, humidity, light level and concentrations of the carbon monoxide harmful air pollutant.
Pervasive monitoring of carbon monoxide and methane using air quality prediction
TLDR
This paper presents an innovative way of pollution monitoring in which any person can see the pollution content of a specific area where the sensors are installed and take measures to control the same.
