We sought to assess morbidity and mortality in primary retroperitoneal soft tissue sarcomas (RSTS) treated by a frontline aggressive surgical approach. A total of 249 consecutive patients with primary RSTS were treated by a frontline aggressive surgical approach at two major European institutions.
