A high-resolution age–depth profile is presented for a 16-m deep-sea piston core (EW9709-PC07) using three different methods: magnetostratigraphy, fish-teeth strontium isotope stratigraphy, and radiolarian biostratigraphy. Fish teeth are abundant throughout the core, allowing for precise age determinations by Sr isotope stratigraphy.
