Intracellular recordings were performed in Cs-loaded sympathetic preganglionic neurons (SPNs) of the intermediolateral nucleus, identified by antidromic stimulation, in the slice of the T2 or T3 segment of the cat spinal cord. Loading the neurons with Cs resulted in broadening of the action potential, depression of the fast component of the afterhyperpolarization (AHP), and appearance of an afterdepolarization (ADP).
