Both analytical and digital techniques for application of the new leader criterion to more complex configurations were demonstrated. Leader inception voltage, 50% breakdown voltage and gap factor of rod-rod, conductor-rod and conductor-cylindrical structure were computed and compared with experiments. Typical results are shown in Fig. A for a rod-rod gap and Fig. B for a conductor-rod configura¬ tion. The agreement between theory and experiments is quite satisfactory. Discusser: G. Carrara.
