An efficient Air Traffic Management (ATM) system requires planning of traffic flows that rely on accurate estimation of aircraft performances. New operational concepts, that will ensure seamless management of the forecasted growth of air traffic and provide increased capacity, are based on aircraft trajectory prediction.
