Head and neck sarcomas are rare tumors, accounting for only 1% of all head and neck malignancies and 5% of all sarcomas [1,2]. They are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms according to their origin site that can be bone, muscle, vessel, nerve, fat and fibrous tissue. Most common histological types are: osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, pleomorphic sarcoma and angiosarcoma [3,4].
