OBJECTIVES An additional case of adenomatoid tumor of the epididymis is described. This is the second in our experience. METHODS A 36-year-old male consulted at our outpatient services for an infertility test. Semen analysis revealed severe oligoteratozoospermia, indicating testicular biopsy and vasostomy. RESULTS A nodular tumor was found in the body of the epididymis and pathological analysis confirmed adenomatoid tumor. CONCLUSIONS Adenomatoid tumor of the epididymis is a benign tumor of both males and females. Although its etiopathogenesis remains unclear, the mesothelial hypothesis is the most widely accepted. It is silent and incidentally discovered. Definitive diagnosis is by pathological analysis.
