The ADaM (Analysis Data Model) BDS (Basic Data Structure) has specific rules to follow when adding columns or rows. Because there are limitations to what can be added as a column to a BDS structure, much of our derived content must be added as rows. This HOW uses a Vital Signs example, demonstrating the common BDS dataset need of adding analysis parameters and visits.
