In this letter, we propose a broadly applicable reduced-rank filtering approach with adaptive interpolated finite impulse response (FIR) filters in which the interpolator is rendered adaptive. We describe the interpolated minimum mean squared error (MMSE) solution and propose normalized least mean squares (NLMS) and affine-projection (AP) algorithms for both the filter and the interpolator.
