Emerging Non-Volatile Memories (NVM) such as Spin-Torque Transfer RAM (STT-RAM) and Resistive RAM (RRAM) have been explored as potential alternatives for traditional SRAM-based Last-Level-Caches (LLCs) due to the benefits of higher density and lower leakage power.
