  title={Adaptive floating search methods in feature selection},
  author={Petr Somol and Pavel Pudil and Jana Novovicov{\'a} and Pavel Pacl{\'i}k},
  journal={Pattern Recognition Letters},
A new suboptimal search strategy for feature selection is presented. It represents a more sophisticated version of ``classical'' ̄oating search algorithms (Pudil et al., 1994), attempts to remove some of their potential de®ciencies and facilitates ®nding a solution even closer to the optimal one.
