We examine a limitting procedure of superalgebras for a BPS-particle in AdS2 × S2, pp-wave and flat backgrounds focussing on BPS-brane charges. The BPS-particle charge in the flat superalgebra is traced back to a part of Lorentz rotation generators in the AdS and pp-wave superalgebras. A Wess-Zumino term for a BPS-brane causes a momentum shift and the contribution is absorbed into bosonic generators, then it results in closure of the AdS and pp-wave superalgebras.
