Primary extranodal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (p-EN-NHL) of the kidneys with acute renal failure as the only manifestation is very rare. The origin of neoplastic lymphoid cells in the kidneys, organs normally free of lymphoid tissue, is an unsolved problem.
