The residues obtained after hydrodistillation of th ree aromatic plants ( Calamintha grandiflora , Myrrhis odorata and Tussilago farfara ) were separated into solid and liquid fractions. T he liquid fraction was dried while the solid fraction was extracted with acetone, methanol or et hanol.
