Actively Mode-locked Multiwavelength Fibre Ring Laser Incorporating a Lyot Filter, Hybrid Gain Medium and Birefringence Compensated LiNbO3 Modulator


A lyot filter based actively mode-locked multiwavelength fibre ring laser with a hybrid gain medium, consisting of an SOA and EDFA, is presented.
