The alteration of the plasma membrane (Ca2+-Mg2+)-ATPase activity in the liver of rats administered orally carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) solution was investigated. Rats received a single oral administration of CCl4 (10, 25 and 50%, 1.0 ml/100 g body weight), and 3 or 24 h later they were sacrificed.
