PURPOSE We investigated the association of hyperoxaluria and calcium oxalate crystal induced production of reactive oxygen species with activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eight-week-old male rats were given hydroxy-L-proline to induce hyperoxaluria.
