Myelosuppression is the most common dose-limiting adverse effect of chemotherapies. In the present study, we investigated the involvement of nuclear erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in cyclophosphamide-induced myelosuppression in mice, and evaluated the potential of activating Nrf2 signaling as a preventive strategy.
