High concentrations of ketoconazole (Ktc) exhibit poor antimicrobial activity in microbicidal test. Alkylaminoethylglycine (AAEG), an amphoteric surface-active agent, employed in subinhibitory concentrations, can enhance the action of ketoconazole.
