The relationship between the distribution of zooplankton, especially euphausiids (Euphausia and Thysanoessa spp.), and hydrographic regimes of the Western Antarctic Peninsula continental shelf in and around Marguerite Bay was studied as part of the Southern Ocean GLOBEC program.
