  • To The Editor: I wish to report a patient with biliary tract sepsis due to Achromobacter xylosoxidans. A 34-year-old female was diagnosed as having stage III nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's disease in 1977 and underwent splenectomy and total nodal radiation. ACT scan of the abdomen showed dilatation of the biliary system due to obstruction of the distal common bile duct. She refused evaluation and treatment.
