Acenocoumarol and phenytoin toxicity in the presence of CYP2C9 mutation.

Abstract

This case report describes a rare interaction between therapeutic doses of phenytoin and acenocoumarol resulting in both acute phenytoin toxicity and increased international normalized ratio (INR).
