In this paper we compare accelerated waveform relaxation algorithms to pointwise direct and iterative methods for the parallel transient simulation of semiconductor devices on parallel machines. Experimental results are presented for simulations on single (serial) workstations, clusters of workstations, and an IBM SP-2.
