The acaricidal potential of Ethulia conyzoides L. aerial parts extracts as well as its isolated compounds were investigated against larvae and adults of Tetranychus urticae Koch under laboratory conditions. Chromatographic separation of the extracts gave 3-O-acetyl lupeol, lupan-3-ol, ethuliacoumarin (1) and 7-O-methyl apigenin (Genkwanin), besides a mixture of isoethyliacoumarin A (2), isoethuliacoumarin C (3). The biological evaluation results indicated that ethyl acetate fraction and… Expand

The molluscicidal activity of coumarins from Ethulia conyzoides and of dicumarol.
TLDR
The molluscicidal principles of Ethulia conyzoides were identified as ethuliacoumarin A and isoethuliacous A and the anticoagulant dicumarol was tested and found to be molluskicidal in the range from 2.5 to 10 ppm. Expand
Isolation and Characterization of Polygonum equisetiforme Flavonoids and Their Acaricidal Activity against Tetranychus urticae Koch.
TLDR
All the five isolated flavonoids showed acaricidal activity using leaf-dip technique against T. urticae Koch larvae in the following decreasing activity order; quercetin (LC50 =11.28 ppm), avicularin (46.72 ppm), isoquercitrin (63.77 ppm), myricitrin(169.66 ppm) and betmidin (188.11 ppm). Expand
