Species identification of fish maw (Porcupinefish) products sold on the market using DNA sequencing of 16S rRNA and COI genes.
TLDR
This work facilitates the identification of fish maw products in the market, support of food control and protection of consumers’ rights, and suggested that the Spot-fin porcupinefish D. hystrix maw exists potential food security threat to the consumers.
Unified treatment algorithm for the management of crotaline snakebite in the United States: results of an evidence-informed consensus workshop

Using a modified Delphi method, an evidence-informed treatment algorithm is provided in an attempt to reduce variation in care and possibly improve clinical outcomes of crotaline envenomation.
