Trauma resuscitations (TRs) can be improved with ongoing videotape review. Unrecognized errors, delays, and system problems can be identified and corrected. Previous studies have demonstrated the importance of a short TR on survival and that videotape education can shorten TR time. Trauma resuscitation efficiency depends on details of TR including timing, organization, and appropriateness of care.
