The mechanical harvesting of grapes is an important operation in order to contain the operating costs of the viticultural farms. One of the limits of the mechanical harvesting of grapes is represented by the production of juice that is mostly due to the energetic action of the shakers that knocks against the grape clusters to allow the detachment of the berries. As a consequence, under the same structural conditions of the plants, the production of grape juice depends on the physical-mechanical…

Quality evaluation of grapes for mechanical harvest using vis NIR spectroscopy
Mechanical harvest of grapes is one of the operations that mostly influence the quality of the future wine. The shaking frequency of the harvesting machine is usually adjusted on the basis of the
ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN FACTORS INFLUENCING THE QUALITY OF WINE FROM MECHANICALLY HARVESTED GRAPES
The present paper consisted in the study of the main factors influencing the quality of wines produced from mechanically harvested grapes. In particular, 8 samples of grape clusters were examined,

Rapid discrimination of Italian Prosecco wines by head-space gas-chromatography basing on the volatile profile as a chemometric fingerprint
Prosecco wine is one of the most important products of the Italian oenological landscape. Its production is strictly regulated by several disciplinary. Thus, it is important to verify the quality of
