Morinda lucida (ML) and Taraxacum officinale (TO) are plants commonly used in Traditional herbal medicines in West Africa for treatment of several ailments. The ML is traditionally used to treat malaria whilst TO is used to manage hypertension. Both plants have also been claimed to have anticancer properties.
