The SLUICES model was developed for the purpose of simulating interflow on forested, mountainous watersheds on a distributed basis using a grid system. The Jamieson Creek watershed located in the Seymour River Basin near Vancouver, British Columbia was selected for model validation since interflow plays a dominant role in determining discharge from that watershed.
