Objective: This study is an attempt to identifying an effective fluoroquinolones (FQ) s against STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS (S. aureus) by in silico analysis of 150 (FQ) compounds using iGemDock v2.1 tool. Methods : Structure of DNA gyrase (2XCT) was retrieved from the Protein Data Bank (PDB) and the structures of (FQ) compounds were selected from literature survey of 400 novel compounds and the physical, chemical and molecular characteristics of each compound were obeyed for drug-relevant properties…

IN VITRO AND IN SILICO ANTIMICROBIAL STUDY OF STANNANE OF PYRIDOXAL 5-PHOSPHATE

The novel complex was found to having a good potency to efficiently inhibit the microbes Burkholderia pseudomallei, Human cytomegalovirus, Yersinia enterocolitica and Escherichia coli, based on the interaction profile.

An in-Silico Study of some natural and synthetic compounds as potential inhibitors for factor Xa

Recent research has demonstrated the significance of factor Xa and its inhibitors as a possible treatment approach. Since currently approved drugs have a wide variety of side effects, new

SYNTHESIS, MOLECULAR BIOINFORMATICS MODELLING, AND ANTIMICROBIAL EVALUATION OF SOME NOVEL OXADIAZOLE FLUOROQUINOLONE DERIVATIVES

The analogs of oxadiazole flouroquinolone are suggested to be potent inhibitors with sufficient scope for further exploration.

SYNTHESIS, MOLECULAR DOCKING AND ANTIBACTERIAL EVALUATION OF SOME NOVEL N-4 PIPERIDINYL DERIVATIVES OF SPARFLOXACIN

Objective: The present study envisage a series of sparfloxacin derivatives were synthesized (Q1-Q10) with added derivatives such as aminomethyl benzenesulfenyl, methyl (methylamino)benzenesulfenyl,

The key data available in the context of various biological activities of NPTR derivatives available from the literature are explained to direct opportunity in researches in the synthesis of novel medicinal agents and the development of new heterocycles for modification of existing biological actions as well as evaluation of other possible pharmacological activities.

A Study on the Inhibitory Potential of Dpp-Iv Enzyme by Lobeline through In silico and In vivo Approaches

Lobe line could be a good candidate to be developed as a natural compound for treating diabetes mellitus because it bound efficiently to the active site of DPP IV enzyme and consumed less binding energy than Sitagliptin.

In-silico Identification and Molecular Docking Studies of Quinolone Resistance Determining Region (QRDR) of E. coli DNA Gyrase-A with Ofloxacin Schiff Bases

A good correlation was also observed between docking scores and experimental biological activity, and a series of ofloxacin Schiff bases were designed and docked within the “Quinolone Resistance Determining Region” of E. coli DNA Gyrase-A (EcGyr-A) chain.

Structure-activity relationships of the quinolone antibacterials against mycobacteria: effect of structural changes at N-1 and C-7.

The results demonstrate that the activity against mycobacteria was related more to antibacterial activity than to changes in the lipophilicity of the compounds, and substitution with either piperazine or pyrrolidine heterocycles at C-7 afforded similar activity againstMycob bacteria.

New antibacterial agents derived from the DNA gyrase inhibitor cyclothialidine.

Improving the pharmacokinetic properties of the most active compounds, in particular by lowering their lipophilic properties, was able to identify congeners of cyclothialidine that showed efficacy in vivo, and a modification program afforded a number of inhibitors that showed in vitro activity against Gram-positive bacteria.

Synthesis and antibacterial evaluation of certain quinolone derivatives.

A number of 7-substituted quinolone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for antibacterial and cytotoxic activities. Preliminary results indicated that most compounds tested in this study

Design, Synthesis, Molecular Docking, and Antibacterial Evaluation of Some Novel Flouroquinolone Derivatives as Potent Antibacterial Agent

This investigation identified the potent antibacterial agents against certain infections.

Synthesis, antibacterial, and cytotoxic evaluation of certain 7-substituted norfloxacin derivatives.

We report herein the synthesis and biological evaluation of two series of 7-substituted norfloxacin derivatives. Most compounds tested in this study demonstrated better activity against

Mechanisms of quinolone resistance

Clinical fluoroquinolone resistance is rarely found in intrinsically highly susceptible organisms such as Enterobacteriaceae and involves a combination of at least two mutations; species with moderate intrinsic susceptibility require only one mutation to become clinically resistant.

VIRTUAL DOCKING STUDIES OF FLAVONOID COMPOUNDS AGAINST CELL WALL PROTEINS OF MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS

50 ligand molecules which were commonly present in the plants were docked with the selected Mycobacterium tuberculosis receptors and five compounds had a significant inhibitory activity with the receptors at a very low energy value, which showed the drug likeliness and bioavailability.

Type IIA topoisomerase inhibition by a new class of antibacterial agents

This work provides new insights into the mechanism of topoisomerase action and a platform for structure-based drug design of a new class of antibacterial agents against a clinically proven, but conformationally flexible, enzyme class.
