  • Incorporation of 3H-choline into 3H-SPC by slices of whole fetal rat lung is lower in males than in females at 20 days gestation (day 0= mating) (Torday and Dow, 1982), leading to the hypothesis that androgens delay fetal rat lung T II maturation.
