Today's AI implementations (in games such as Half-Life [Half-LifeSDK], Hidden & Dangerous, and Rainbow Six) do use grenadesa, but these AI implementations typically do not: ■ intentionally bounce grenades around the corner ■ intentionally lob grenades through windows or doors to a spot near their target ■ use grenades to flush out threats from a hard to reach position ■ understand when it makes sense and when it doesn't make sense to use grenades
