We analyse optical data cubes of the inner kiloparsec of 30 local (z ≤ 0.02) active galactic nucleus (AGN) hosts that our research group, AGNIFS, has collected over the past decade via observations with the integral field units of the Gemini Multi-Object Spectrographs. Spatial resolutions range between 50 and 300 pc and spectral coverage is from 4800 or 5600 to 7000 Å, at velocity resolutions of ≈50 $\rm ~km~s^{-1}$. We derive maps of the gas excitation and kinematics, and determine the AGN… Expand

Feeding versus feedback in AGN from near-infrared IFU observations XI: NGC 2110
We present a two-dimensional mapping of the gas flux distributions, as well as of the gas and stellar kinematics in the inner 220 pc of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 2110, using K-band integral fieldExpand
Feeding versus feedback in NGC 4151 probed with Gemini NIFS – II. Kinematics
We have used the Gemini Near-infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) to map the gas kinematics of the inner ∼200 x 500 pc 2 of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 in the Z, J, H and K bands at aExpand
Feeding versus feedback in AGNs from near-infrared IFU observations: the case of Mrk 79
We have mapped the gaseous kinematics and the emission-line flux distributions and ratios from the inner≈ 680 pc radius of the Seyfert 1 galaxy Mrk 79, using two-dimensional (2D) near-IR J− andExpand
Gemini/GMOS IFU gas velocity ‘tomography’ of the narrow line region of nearby active galaxies
We present two-dimensional (2D) mapping of the gas velocity field of the inner few hundred parsecs of six nearby active galaxies, using spectra obtained with the integral field unit of the GeminiExpand
Feeding versus feedback in NGC 4151 probed with Gemini NIFS – I. Excitation
We have used the Gemini Near-infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) to map the emission-line intensity distributions and ratios in the narrow-line region (NLR) of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 inExpand
Gemini NIFS survey of feeding and feedback processes in nearby active galaxies : I. Stellar kinematics
We use the Gemini Near-Infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) to map the stellar kinematics of the inner few hundred parsecs of a sample of 16 nearby Seyfert galaxies, at a spatial resolution ofExpand
An outflow in the Seyfert ESO 362-G18 revealed by Gemini-GMOS/IFU observations
We present two-dimensional stellar and gaseous kinematics of the inner 0.7 × 1.2 kpc2 of the Seyfert 1.5 galaxy ESO 362-G18, derived from optical (4092–7338 Å) spectra obtained with the GMOS integralExpand
Outflowing gas in a compact ionization cone in the Seyfert 2 galaxy ESO 153-G20
We present two-dimensional ionized gas and stellar kinematics in the inner 1.4 × 1.9 kpc2 of the Seyfert 2 galaxy ESO 153-G20 obtained with the Gemini-South/Gemini multi-object spectrographExpand
Morphology of AGN emission-line regions in SDSS-IV MaNGA survey
Extended narrow-line regions (NLRs) around active galactic nuclei (AGN) are shaped by the distribution of gas in the host galaxy and by the geometry of the circumnuclear obscuration, and thus theyExpand
From Nuclear to Circumgalactic: Zooming in on AGN-driven Outflows at z ∼ 2.2 with SINFONI
We use deep adaptive optics assisted integral field spectroscopy from SINFONI on the VLT to study the spatially resolved properties of ionized gas outflows driven by active galactic nuclei (AGN) inExpand
