Abstract : The results of the aerodynamic testing of a 66-inch diameter rotating-diffuser centrifugal fan for internal flow airborne applications are presented. To accommodate the testing of this unit, a testing facility had to be designed and built. Because of the availability of a test pad and high-power variable frequency electric motor equipment, the facility was located on the grounds of the Aerodynamics Laboratory of the U. S.
