Three testers of cucumber, NDCU-36, NDCU-13 and their hybrid, NDCU-36 x NDCU-13 were crossed to 12 inbred lines for estimating the additive, dominance and epistatic components of genetic variance for 10 metric traits in summer season by modified triple-test cross analysis. Overall epistasis and its ‘j and I’ type component were significant for all the characters under study except average fruit weight.
