The role of NO-formation induced by accumulated endogenous bradykinin (BK) via local ACE-inhibition with ramiprilat (RT) or by adding BK exogenously was evaluated in cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAEC) and in isolated rat hearts with post-ischaemic reperfusion injuries.
