The Maternal Child Health (MCH) Clinics opened in 1976 in the Moshi District of Tanzania integrate all the services a woman and her children under 5 need to prevent infectious diseases and keep a check on their wellbeing. Integrating services has meant fewer clinic trips and much greater convenience for patients. The clinics also mark a significant stride in family planning.
