Records of 20 consecutive pediatric patients receiving total parenteral nutrition over a 1-month period were reviewed for appropriateness of nutritional assessment and management. Each patient was monitored until total parenteral nutrition was discontinued or for a maximum of 2 weeks. A total of 124 therapy days were reviewed.
