A truth-functional logic package using York unquote

The package TAUTOL, EQUIV, ARGUMENT and SYLLOG puts much of the exercise-correcting for elementary formal logic in the hands of a computer. TAUTOL tests expressions to see whether they are tautologies, contingencies or contradictions; EQUIV selects sets of truth-functional equivalents out of a series of expressions; ARGUMENT tests argument-forms for truth=functional va l id i ty ; and SYLLOG tests arguments involving single quantifiers and monadic predicates for val id i ty by the method of existential conditionals (see Quine, Methods of L o s , 3rd edition, part 2).
