Gingival recession is often associated with abrasion in the cervical area with an unidentifiable cementoenamel junction (CEJ). This condition complicates the diagnosis and treatment of gingival recession. The aim of this study was to propose a technique to identify the CEJ level for planning periodontal and restorative treatment of the recession.
